Watch: Chasing Grace – Trust [Best Fit Premiere]
Chasing Grace are 20-year old Phil Plested and 18 year old Grace Ackerman and their track ‘Trust’ is one of the most sublime things we’ve heard in a while.
The duo hail from Hertfordshire and the arresting song – which we’re premièring today on Best Fit – skirts a number of familiar sounds and reference points but offers a combination that’s unique enough to keep us interested and begging for more, with some lush XX-style guitar crashes and melodramatic vocals.
‘Trust’ is taken from their debut EP Dinner Will Be Served’, due out in June. The band are currently in the studio with Wiley-collaborator Naughty Boy and you can catch them on tour with Sam Smith in May.
