Charlotte OC serves up choral excellence on new single “Darkest Hour”

The newest single from sultry gem Charlotte OC channels choral euphoria even in the "Darkest Hour".
“Darkest Hour is about watching someone become a prisoner in a toxic relationship,” explains the singer. “It’s about feeling powerless because there is nothing you can do to help.”
The brilliance of the song lies in its contrasts; spacious, piano-led verses giving way to the towering vocals of the chorus. Lyrically, it’s every part the soulful sorcery we’ve come to expect from this rising star, topped off with a nostalgic vinyl crackle.
“Darkest Hour” follows in the wake of three stellar EPs, and precedes a handful of UK shows this November.
