Saturated lights and guitar close-ups blend with both an aura of lo-fi goodness, and clean-cut garage-rock sonics on Charles Howl’s latest outing, “Do No Harm”.
The white suits, white guitar, white walls and sleeping girl create a sense of purity and cleanliness, that seems to tie-in nicely with the track name. This contrasts with the grungy vocals of Howl and the reckless, surf-psych melodies that batter their way through the abstract frames of the video.
It’s an odd fit, but one that adds a more angelic perception of the track, in its simple effectiveness.
