The Line of Best Fit
Australia-via-London duo Cambio Sun share the fruits of their labour with the epic "Maiden Voyage".
Building upon the track's opening dirgy alt. rock, "Maiden Voyage" transforms from beautiful gloom to strangely reassuring piano pop in the space of four minutes, guided all the while by frontman Charlie Tait's dreamy, crystal falsetto.
Childhood friends Tait and John Cleworth recently relocated from Sydney to London to work on material for their debut album, Animal Sense.
"Maiden Voyage" may well be just the first enticing glimpse into the duo's seeminly intriguing world of off-kilter pop, but we're pretty certain we'll be just as enthralled with the next.
