Bo Rocha loses control on experimental R&B track "Now More Again" [Premiere]
Bo Rocha has unveiled a new single called "Now More Again", and you can listen on Best Fit.
The track is a vast dystopian soundscape, with distorted synths and apocalyptic whispers, with Rocha occasionally bursting through with her passionate, crystalline vocals. Beats are awry, droning bass twists around hollow snares, and atrophied hooks line the electro-R&B backdrop, but Rocha's beacon-like vocals tie it all together in a neat avante-pop bundle.
"Now More Again" links up with "Tangerine Flake" on debut EP Even Green - speaking about that release, Rocha says “Even Green, for me, personifies a series of statements. It’s about independence and co-dependency, agency and ambition. All our fears and possibilities ultimately come down to fight or flight. Should I, shouldn’t I, and do I have any right to?”
The Even Green EP is out 13 November via Bait & Switch. She's set to play The Waiting Room in London on 11 November.
