Now onto their third album Tracing Echoes – released last month – Iceland’s Bloodgroup continue to eke out a sonic space that moves ever closer to a unique convergence between the abstract and the popular.
‘Fall’, which we first heard back in December, distills everything that’s special about the four piece into four minutes of intelligent melodic electro-pop: the reference points are obvious but the execution is not. Check out the video for ‘Fall’ below, which mines a Lord of Flies/Where the Wild Things Are vibe to a terrifyingly joyful effect.
