Danish outfit Blaue Blume have been tentatively leaking haunting indie-pop tunes over the course of 2013. And from the same sessions which brought us debut ‘On New Years Eve‘ and follow-up ‘Helen‘ comes new track, ‘Jealousy’.
Tied closely to their doom-laden writing of late, ‘Jealousy’ takes on the green-eyed monster itself with frontman Jonas’ subtle half-whisper, half-hiss wedged between discordant flecks of guitar and splintered percussion. The Copenhagen foursome return to the studio next month, we’re expecting something special, and probably downright frightening, if they’re true to form.
