Black Coast enlists REMMI’s serene vocals on “Feel Something”
Under the name Black Coast, producer Stan Rapoport teams up with singer-songwriter REMMI on leisurely new single “Feel Something”.
Previously, Black Coast found success with single “Trndsttr”, featuring singer M. Maggie. Lucian’s remix of the track has hit over 100 million streams since its release; an impressive achievement in the face of Rapoport’s limited marketing and modest social media following. “Feel Something” is the second Black Coast release since this unexpected smash, following 2016’s “Sleep Alone”, featuring Soren Bryce.
The collaboration between the New York producer and Nashville-based vocalist REMMI was written prior to November’s presidential election, but the pair hope that it will serve as a “rallying cry of hope” for what’s to come in 2017. REMMI’s languid vocal, coupled with effortless the ebb and flow of Rapoport’s production provides a serene antidote to the mess we’re in as we hurtle towards Trump’s impending adjuration.
