Betty Who gives "Human Touch" a human touch with stripped session featuring Jarryd James

The acoustic version of the Australian pop star’s new single “Human Touch” gives way for a haunting vocal from Who and fellow countryman Jarryd James.

The original single sees Who at home with a drop for a chorus, massive synth-drenched production, an all-round throwback to the eighties with a 2016 twist.

Taking all that away and leaving just the acoustic guitar may seem like a bold move for an artist whose back catalogue is composed of similar high octane potential hits, but it works - perhaps even more so than the official single.

"I write so many of my songs on guitar or piano - it seemed only fitting to showcase the way this song came to be,” Who explains. On teaming up with James she says, “It is a dream come true! The first time I heard his voice on the radio I knew I just had to sing with him. I am so honoured to share this performance with him.”

2017 is set to be the year Betty Who releases her second album, we’d love to hear the pair harmonise again on the upcoming record.
