Barney Artist unleashes the ultimate loved-up summer anthem with "Something True"
The East London artist warms up for the release of his debut album with the utterly infectious "Something True" - a track that keeps the good vibes coming.
Having previously released two EPs, Barney Artist is finally ready to unleash his full potential to the world with the release of his debut album, entitled Home Is Where The Art Is, which is due to be released later this autumn. The album is set to feature collaborations with Tom Misch, Jordan Rakei and Alfa Mist amongst others and if that wasn't enough to whet your appetite , "Something True" only acts as a perfect, sugary taster of what is to come.
"Something True" is nothing short of a certified banger, featuring bright brass, irrestitible grooves that are impossible to not dance to and is laden with hooks. Barney Artist's flow is super smooth and shines with cosmic energy as the track grows into a party-starting hit.
Explaining the motivation behind the track's good-time vibes, Barney explains "'Something True' is my attempt of making a loved-up, two step anthem.. I’ve always wanted to have a song that can be played when everyone’s a bit tipsy at a family function and I think with 'Something True' I’ve done it.. also it’s the perfect introduction to the album and that will become even clearer as things unravel."
