Ava Luna provide cartoon visuals to accompany their narrative track, "Steve Polyester"
Ava Luna jump straight into the story with distorted animations that accompany the weirdly wonderful journey to find Steve Polyester, further reviving the charm of simple storytelling to intriguing instrumentals.
Following their critically acclaimed 2014 LP, Electric Balloon, the New York five-piece have further proven their ability to encorporate engaging sounds by introducing compelling, storytelling tactics to accompany the intriguing instrumentals in "Steve Polyester".
The distorted cartoon leads us into the peculiar story of Steve Polyester, adding instrumentals and catchy 'do-do's' to reiterate the importance of this search for the enigma.
The video adds a lot of context to the track. As more information is gained about the mysterious Mr. Polyester, the instrumentals develop delightfully to match the visuals.
Ava Luna's upcoming album, Infinite House, is released 4 May via Western Vinyl.
