Art School Girlfriend paints a viscously captivating soundscape in "Bending Back"
Hauntingly ethereal new track from Art School Girlfriend "Bending Back" is as catchy as it is dark.
The newest signing to Paul Epworth’s Wolf Tone label (The Horrors, Glass Animals), Art School Girlfriend’s heavy alt. pop is viscous and captivating.
"Bending Back" is the first single from Measures EP, a body of work that flits around the idea of falling in love and taking control. The track effortlessly reflects the reality of Art School Girlfriend’s life; the calm and reverie catalysed by living in Margate, next to the sea, to the tension and electricity of being in a sea storm and being exposed to nature’s torments.
