Ariel channels euphoric pop on huge new track "In-N-Out"
UK singer and producer Ariel finds a perfect balance of intimacy and euphoria on big pop track "In-N-Out".
Both glossy and intricate, Ariel's "In-N-Out" is a collation of pristine pop, sultry R&B and elegant electronica that merge to tell a tale of the creative industry's throwaway treatment of young women.
Premiered via Noisey, Ariel explains that she took her name from the Hans Christian Anderson tale of The Little Mermaid, “I was reading it and thinking about how it was this moral tale of young women not to step out of line, to keep them in their place. I came back to London with no team; I wanted to have as much agency as possible. I wanted to see if I end up dissolving into sea foam or if it works out.”
The melodic, playful pop is a wholesome offering from Ariel, having only emerged as a solo artist in June with her debut track "All Night".
Although her new track arrives with a vibrant tone, the track is a fast-paced tale of not knowing where you stand, constantly having an expiry date when involved in a creative industry.
