Aria gets passionate on slow-building synth pop epic "Hope"
Almost two years on from her last single, Aria is back with a massive new track.
The Gloucester-based musician impressed with "Shot In The Dark", and new track "Hope" sees Aria take a massive leap into the big time.
With a spidery '80s U2-style guitar line off in the distance, the track builds around Aria's stunning vocals which shift from intimate verses to huge, skyscraping flights of fancy in the chorus. Add in a pulsating bass and percussion which peaks around Aria's high notes, "Hope" is a brilliant pop ballad filled with the tension which comes from worrying that you're just that little bit too vulnerable - and trying to balance it with being vulnerable enough to let someone in.
“'Hope' is based on the constant fear that some live in of losing love," says Aria. "I feel that sometimes after falling in love, the fear of losing that love is often what can kill the relationship.”
