Manchester-based three-piece Ambiere describe their sound as “fairytale grunge, with a jellybean peanut butter finish.”
If, like us, you’re a little lost as to what that means, imagine the vocals of Vaults’ Blythe Pepino backed up by the spacious ambience of The XX. Fronted by songwriters Amber Lane-Mcivor and Jake Blythe, and backed up by instrumentalist Oliver Lamb, new track “Tree Of Life” drips with an abundance of swirling synth lines and delicate, meticulous percussion.
“Tree Of Life” is set to be released in the middle of Ambiere’s upcoming UK tour, which sees them visiting Leeds, London, Manchester, and Newcastle at the beginning of next month.
“Tree Of Life” is out 11 February.
