Alex Vargas jumps headlong into 2016 with explosive new single "Shackled Up"
Alex Vargas storms into the new year with his ginormous new track, "Shackled Up", taken from his EP released on 22 January.
It's Vargas' vocal that stands out most on this bold new cut: controlled though not devoid of expression, simmering in the verses and soaring in the chorus.
Much can also be praised of the slick production, which effortlessly blends skeletel guitars and hefty beats.
Vargas' support slots for 2016 Brits Critics' Choice winner Jack Garratt and his own sold-out headline tour last year point him towards a bright future indeed,
Giving Up The Ghost is released on 22 January via Copenhagen Records / Locomotion Entertainment.
