Enveloping autumn’s chill with a warm, laid-back surf-pop romanticism and a wistful, at times doleful, nostalgia Real Estate’s sophomore album Days is the most fitting continuation of the band’s 2009 eponymous effort. With cyclical riffs, instantly familiar harmonies and just enough reverb to bring the beach pop of their New Jersey homeland to the forefront the band’s first full-length on Domino Records is a gently charming album.
