The Toronto-based singer/songwriter is already rocking almost two hundred thousand followers on Instagram. AJA, pronounced Asia, was somewhat of a child prodigy, raised on the classic rock songs and the sounds of jazz titans she signed a publishing deal at age 12. With "Nerve" she's stepping in a different direction.

““Nerve” is an empowerment song to inspire people to stand up for what they believe in” Neinstein explains, she add that she wants it to serve as an anthem “to defy the norms and words we are often called as women.” She makes it clear that ultimately the only person you should be held accountable by is yourself.

On this new track, which serves as her first official release, you can hear those early influences clearly, but the most striking thing, as ever, is Neinstein's powerful voice.
