Austin’s A. Sinclair has left a few things behind recently (most notably his bandmates in Frank Smith), but he hasn’t lost any of his indie rock bluster on “Shiny Things”, premiering today on Best Fit.
Featuring massive guitars cutting through a din of drums, this solo cut is an excellent showcase for Sinclair’s boozy vocals (imagine the Cold War Kids’ Nathan Willett after a few beers). It’s got swagger, melody and timeless drive.
A. Sinclair’s debut album, Pretty Girls, is set for release 20 May.
