"Caves and Blood Veins" is a driving and anthemic new single from SUAD
A member of Jaakko Eino Kalevi's band, Finland's SUAD is making a bid for solo stardom of her own.
Having been in the business for over a decade singing mainly on other people's tracks, Suad Khalifa's break came singing with Kalevi on his debut album and as part of his touring band. Now, "Caves and Blood Veins" could be the track that gives SUAD the spotlight.
A track which divides itself between a motorik groove and Fleetwood Mac-eque riffing, "Caves and Blood Veins" is addictive from the very start. SUAD's voice is smoky and warbling, confident but with the slightest hint of vulernability as she gets set to face an uncertain future.
"'Caves and Blood Veins' is a song that wrote itself," says SUAD. "It is about becoming ready to see the truth."
