Somewhat unexpected given his initial blog-orientated sound, Tourist’s new short-player sees the producer take a stab at club culture and succeed.
Teased in by the deep repetitiveness of its title track and the equally ambient ‘I Have No Fear‘, this four track EP moves up through the gears like a well thought-out evening. With hooks that wouldn’t sound out of place in the early hours of a European club, ‘Don’t Stop’ and ‘Heartbeats’ plunge deeply towards house, whilst maintaining an accessibility and easiness on the ear. The former of these two, particularly, is filled with intricate crescendos, neat drops and vocal samples enough to lure you onto the dance floor.
