“Dollar And A Dream” is the new track from Australian rapper Miles Glyphers.
Taken from Glyphers’ new EP, Third World Child, the track explores Glyphers’ thoughts on the subject of home. Despite growing up in Australia, the rapper was born in the Ivory Coast, living in Guinea for a brief period before his family relocated to Sydney. It’s this transitory lifestyle that provides the track’s lyrical inspiration.
“I’ve always led a nomadic life,” Glyphers explains. “Finding where to fit in has been a running theme. The song represents that. It’s about about growing up as a young person in a system that you feel alienated from, and finding your way forward.”
“Dollar And A Dream” is out 25 November.
