Pixies to perform Maida Vale session for BBC Radio 6 Music later this month
Having recently released a surprise new EP, as well as booking not one but two London gigs coming later in September, the Pixies have now been announced for a special BBC Radio 6 Music session at Maida Vale studios.
Frank Black and co are streaming ‘Indie Cindy’ from the new short-player, which you can hear below, the lead cut from what will be the first in an ongoing EP series.
The band, who headline a date of London Roundhouse’s iTunes Festival shortly, are likely to perform a handful of these new tracks at the first 6 Music In Concert event, airing live on Thursday 26 September. There will also be a chat with host Steve Lamacq.
