Ian Curtis lyrics and notebooks to be published in new book

Faber Social have announced the publication of a new book compiling the personal writings of Joy Division frontman Ian Curtis.
So This Is Permanence will feature lyrics, jottings and more taken from previously-unseen notebooks belonging to the late musician. It will edited by Jon Savage, with a foreword from Deborah Curtis.
A statement from Faber says the book will “throw his lyrics into relief and cast light on the creative process of this influential and legendary songwriter”.
