We go behind the scenes with Stuart Murdoch as he shoots a set of stunning cover photographs for Belle and Sebastian’s upcoming releases.
Over a thousand fans returned the band's call for applicants to be featured on the covers, and they were eventually narrowed down to just fifty. The two-day event, which took place at Spring Studios in Belsize Park in London saw Murdoch shoot the lucky fifty fans for a set of sleeves for upcoming releases.
“We Were Beautiful", which features some of these fans on its sleeve is out now via Matador.
Belle and Sebastian have a busy few months of touring ahead, with North American shows currently underway, Dutch dates in September, and a Japanese jaunt in October.
