Swn Festival announces initial lineup, The Line Of Best Fit to host stage
Returning for its fifth consecutive year in 2011 is the ever magnificent Swn Festival, boasting an initial lineup bigger and better than ever before. Taking place over four days between 20 – 23 October, a whole host of venues and clubs will open their doors across the fine city of Cardiff to showcase some of the best new acts around.
What’s more, we’re thrilled to announce that The Line Of Best Fit have been invited to host a stage at the festival for the first time. Excited? You bet your sweet ass we’re excited. The final lineup can’t be announced quite yet (mainly ‘cos we’re still working on it), but as a teaser here’s a trio of bands that, if you’re a regular reader of TLOBF, you’ll be no stranger to: Echo Lake, The History Of Apple Pie and Battlekat (pictured above, formerly Just A Number 05272011).
There will be two hundred bands performing across the evenings of the Thursday and Friday then, come the weekend, the festival will operate all day and night. The initial lineup consists of the following:
