On the eve of the arrival of long overdue new material, The Duke Spirit headline a packed out Heaven as part of the NME Awards Tour series of shows. An 80 minute set that was heavy on the new, peppered throughout were a choice selection from the bands first two albums Cuts Across The Land and Neptune with Liela Moss dedicating the Dukes’ oldest song ‘Red Weather’ to “the people that had been there from the start.”
The Kusama EP is released on Monday (7 February) whilst the bands third album proper Bruiser, is slated for a May release.
