London venue 100 Club has revealed they will no longer reveal stage times ahead of gigs.
Taking to socials, 100 Club revealed that they want to support all bands that play at their venue, and "would like people to watch the support acts too. It’s a great way to discover new music."
The 100 Club is no longer giving out stage times to any gig we put on. We want to support all bands that play here and so would like people to watch the support acts too. It’s a great way to discover new music.— The 100 Club (@100clubLondon) February 11, 2019
Set in a basement on Oxford Street, the venue has seen The Specials, Blood Orange, Fat White Family, Goat Girl, Parquet Courts, Joey Bada$$, and many more take to its historic stage.
As Clash report, the new initiative arrives after Slaves shared the reasoning behind not revealing stage times for their shows last year.
Many people are on board with the idea, applauding the venue for supporting performers. Others, however, reveal that they need the stage times due to other commitments and transport options.
