London-based pop artist China sweats with regret on glittering track "Now You Know"
China, the Stockholm-born singer songwriter known for collaborations with Korrellraven and The Radio Dept., has unveiled new single 'Now You Know'.
The taut, glittering synth pop song follows on from last year's brilliant Radio Dept. produced "Hide" and leads a forthcoming suite of songs the singer says "were written in a moment of crisis".
Produced by Name The Pet, this new cut is led by a yearning vocal and anxious stabbing synths, with a plaintive chorus hook that needles the ears.
The singer, born China Yggström, says she wanted it to be "quite literally like I was lying in bed, sweating with regret. With that feeling like you have ants under your skin."
