Kicking off on 25 October, the people behind Rekorderlig Cider are set to open ‘The Winter Forest Bar’ in the heart of East London for what promises to be a totally immersive Swedish experience.

The urban hipster jungle of Brick Lane will be transformed into a Swedish winter forest with sky scraping pine trees and wild foliage to complete the idyllic scene. Throughout 25 October to 6 November, a host of specialist DJs with their roots firmly planted in Scandinavian soil will DJ late into the night whilst a pop-up bar will serve a bevvy of Swedish cocktails and food.

The opening night of 25 October will feature a very special performance from Stockholm’s future Queen of pop and belle of Best Fit Recordings’ roster Faye: her last show of a 10 day trip to the UK. DJs on the night will be Best Fit Recordings and Norwegian duo Project Fresh Socks. Entry on the night is strictly limited, but we’ve got a few pairs of tickets to give away. If you want to come along, simply send an email to in[email protected] with the subject line ‘Faye Winter Bar’ along with your name and a contact telephone number. If you’ve been successful you’ll hear from us by Monday 22 October.

From 26 October onwards, tickets will cost £5 and will entitle each person to a free Rekorderlig tasting tray. Tickets are on sale now via the Rekorderlig Facebook page. A limited number of tickets will also be available on the door each night on a first-come-first-served basis. DJs throughout the bar’s residency include ParadYse Records, Johnny Co-Op, CLUB.THE.MAMMOTH, Ollie Russian, Best Fit Recordings, Project Fresh Socks, Off Modern and Hit Club.
