Almost a year to the day of being chosen as the media partner of Ja Ja Ja; we’re not only thrilled to announce the return of London’s seminal Nordic club night, but also our reinstatement as official partner. TLOBF will be bringing you the latest line-up news, competitions, music and interviews whilst the fine folk at Rockfeedback will be joining the team to provide live video footage and lots more.
Regular readers amongst you will be more than aware of our passion for emerging Nordic sounds. Not a week goes by without us uncovering a new gem from Scandinavia’s seemingly eternal fountain of young talent and it’s a badge we wear with great pride. So it’s an absolute honour to be back working with Ja Ja Ja on this great incentive as they strive to bring the best new acts from the five main Nordic regions of Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark and Iceland to the warm surroundings of London’s Angel based venue The Lexington.
Each month a guest curator is brought in to choose the acts that will make up the bill. The November edition of Ja Ja Ja sees Stephen Bass, co-founder and A&R extraordinaire of tastemaker label Moshi Moshi, firing up our love of all things Nordic including one of the first London appearances from our current obsession Niki And The Dove.
