The Hold Steady brought their credible brand of AOR to London for a show with Canuck alt-rockers Wintersleep last week; Steve Asenjo was there to provide a stunning photographic record of Craig Finn’s hyperactive stage persona.

New Inheritors is an endearing collection of finely crafted tales of escapism, lament, and mistakes, and while it’s not likely to shift a lot of units over here in the UK, it’ll surely feature highly on many muso’s end of year lists.
