Well, well, well… this IS some interesting news.

According to Art Brut No.1 Eddie Argos, via his rather excellent blog, has revealled that Frank Black, one time solo artist, Pixies lead runner and general grumpy boots, is to produce their new album.

“I was thinking about trying to put anybody off that asked me out right if the Pixies legend Frank Black was producing our next album by telling them that they must have mis-heard and in fact the legendary Pixie Geldof was,” said Mr. Argos.

No news on when recording sessions were going to start, but did mention that he was soon to leave for the Oregon this week, so make of that what you wil…
