Since the announcement a few weeks ago about the early lineups for this years ATP Festivals I’ve been totally undecided on which one to go to. “BREEDERS OR FANS BREEDERS OR FANS BREEDERS OR FANS etc” - both are offering some seriously good music. Though my mind has firmly been made up now as The Acorn and Shearwater have been added to The Fans weekend. FUCK YEA. How exciting??!! But still - the thought of missing Bon Iver and Teenage Fanclub at the Breeders weekend still fills me with absolute dread… Anyhoo - further news from ATP HQ follows:

From the 8th - 10th May, The Fans Strike Back weekend will see half of the festival line-up chosen by ATP and the other half voted for by everyone that buys a ticket. The latest additions to the ATP side of the line-up as of today are:

Shearwater
The Acorn
The Pink Mountaintops

That means that the full list of ATP curated bands so far is:

So far the Fans have only picked Beirut, but offers have been sent to My Bloody Valentine, Flight Of The Conchords and Electric Wizard.

ATP has announced its return to Kutsher’s Country Club in Monticello, New York for the 2nd annual ATP New York festival. The event will be held Sept 11-13, 2009 (moved from labor day weekend as previously announced).

Existing tickets will work for the new dates. All ticketholders have been contacted with news on the date change. If you are holding a ticket and the new dates do not work for we are happy to offer a full refund.
