Full to the brim with charm and charisma, Cloud Nothings is an incredibly fun record. Recorded in a warehouse in Baltimore last August, the summer sun undoubtedly has its influence in the hummable hooks and irresistible melodies.

Cloud Nothings – Turning On
Turning On, more than anything, will be used as a reference point for when Cloud Nothings eventually take off. And take off they will, according to most. Jamie Milton reviews the debut release.

More SXSW bands announced
Les Shelleys, Das Racist, Kill It Kid, James Blake, The Joy Formidable and Graham Coxon have all been confirmed for next year’s SXSW festival.

TLOBF Introducing // Cloud Nothings
Meet Cloud Nothings. They formed (properly) in 2009 when a then- eighteen year old Dylan Baldi decided to drop college, bring in some extra band members and pursue the lo-fi indie pop music he had created in his mum and dad’s basement.
The SXSW Diaries // Day 3
Thurston Moore, J Mascis and a punch in the face. Oh and not to mention meeting dark overlords Gwar in a convention center. All in a days work for our SXSW scribe Jen Long.
