ATP vs Explosions In The Sky, Photo Special [Day 2]

By Richard Thane, 22nd May 2008

The pain of my headache on the Saturday morning of ATP will haunt me forever. Cider and Guiness don’t mix. Simple as that. I learnt a valuable lesson there. However, a few Ibuprofens, a humongous english breakfast and several cups of tea later I was right as rain and fighting fit ready for the first act of the day; A Hawk and A Hacksaw. Their unique take on Eastern European gypsy folk nearly left me taking my shoes of and doing some sort of weird jig. I restrained myself though you’ll be pleased to know. Other acts taking to the three stages on the Saturday were Ghostface Killah (“greedy bitches” still ringing in my head), The National, Iron & Wine and Adem. Enjoy the photos below, and remember to check back tomorrow for the final part of our ATP features.
