Welcome to our weekly round-up of shows happening in the grand concert halls, dimly lit basements, airy cafe’s and grimy sweatboxes across the UK and Ireland. All acts featured come with the Best Fit ‘Seal Of Approval’ so you can be assured that your hard earned cash will be well spent. To tempt your wallets this week we’ve gathered dates from the likes of Grandaddy, Holy Other and At The Drive-In.

With his Tri-Angle Records debut LP due out on 27 August, Holy Other is set to bring his haunting blend of house, UK garage and slick R’n'B to Northern Ireland this week.
At The Drive-In@ Brixton Academy, London 28/08
With massive performances at Coachella under their belt and the Reading/Leeds double whammy lined up, El Paso’s post-hardcore legends At The Drive-In’s station is now well an truly operational.
Grizzly Bear @ Albert Hall, Nottingham 29/08
One of only two intimate UK warm up dates ahead of their headline appearance at this year’s End of The Road Festival, Grizzly Bear will undoubtedly be testing out some new, louder material from their forthcoming fourth album Shields, due out 17 September via Warp Records.
Grandaddy @ O2 ABC, Glasgow 30/08
The Modesto, California five-piece announced their reformation in April this year and since then we’ve basically been waiting with the unbeatable giddy enthusiasm of our younger selves to see them roll out tracks from the 2000 classic The Sophtware Slump live.
Nathan Fake @ Electrowerkz, London 30/08
Fake recently revealed the first track to be taken third full length Steam Days is due out on 27 August, and if ‘Iceni Strings’ is anything to go by his re-scheduled performance at the Electrowerkz will be a expansive hour of gently kaleidoscopic harmonies driven by stuttering percussion.
