Best Fit: Gigs of The Week – 30 April

-

Welcome to our weekly round-up of what’s happening in the grand concert halls, dimly lit basements, airy cafe’s and grimy sweatboxes across the UK. All acts featured come with the Best Fit ‘Seal Of Approval’ so you can be assured that your hard earned cash will be well spent. To tempt your wallets this week, we’ve gathered dates from the likes of Friends and Twin Atlantic, we’ve also dug up some alternative Camden Crawl suggestions in The Land of Kings and Simple Things.

Simple Things @ Various Venues, Bristol 06/05

Looking at the line up for Simple Things Festival my eyes bulged and my internal monologue screamed “how have I not heard of this festival before?!” Well, it’s only in its second year so I don’t feel too bad but with artists such as Squarepusher, Male Bonding, Grimes, Echo Lake, Stealing Sheep, Gross Magic, Factory Floor, Vondelpark and more lined up to play, I feel pretty bummed that I can’t go. What’s your excuse? With a bill like that it had better be damn good!
