Just been confirmed that Willy Vlautin will play an additional solo set at Pure Groove records (map) on Friday 17th July at 1:15pm. As with all Pure Groove shows it is totally free to get in. See you there!
We reported about the eagerly awaited new album from Richmond Fontaine a few days ago, but a quick re-cap for the uninitiated: the bands eighth album We Used To Think The Freeway Sounded Like A River will be released via Decor Records on August 17th.
The band will be over in the UK for a full band tour in September (check last weeks post for details), however – Willy Vlautin, the bands frontman and chief songwriter will be in the country as of tomorrow to play a few solo shows, including a set at Latitude. Exciting!
We have two pairs of tickets to give away for the Willy Vlautin show on Friday 17th July at The Social, London. The lucky winners will also receive a signed copy of the new Richmond Fontaine single ‘You Can Move Back Here’ on vinyl.
Two runners up will receive a signed copy of the single.
To be in with a chance of winning answer the following question:
Willy Vlautin’s second novel is being made into a motion picture. Is it called:
b) Northern Soul
c) North Pole
