Torres is streaming her new record Sprinter in full a good three weeks prior to its UK release.
It's the follow up to her 2013 self-titled debut, and has already been previewed by tracks like "Strange Hellos", "New Skin" and "Cowboy Guilt", showcasing a newfound confidence in massive guitars and poignant lyricism. In her tracks, she's critical of her Deep South upbrining, from the religious aspects to the hypocrisy of politics. It's visceral in many ways.
Torres' new album is out 18 May via Partisan in the UK. It's out 4 May in the US.
Stream Sprinter in full now via NPR.
