This Thursday = Meet Me In St Louis Day!

22nd September 2009

mmist

Thursday 24th September is MMISL Day; the 2nd anniversary of Meet Me In St Louis’ debut album release. Everyone is urged to dig out their copy of the Variations On Swing, crank it up loud and pay their respects to this much-missed band.

Whilst Thursday is an “official” day for this – I played Variations recently and forgot just how ace it is. Never got to see ‘em live though…

To help celebrate, Big Scary Monsters have re-printed one of MMISL’s old t-shirt designs and are selling it, along with their 2006 debut 5 track EP, ‘And With The Right Kind Of Eyes…’.

Get them both from www.bsmrocks.com

Happy MMISL Day for Thursday!

What do you think?

it saddens me that after buying With the Right Kind of Eyes… all those years ago, I didn’t even know there had been an album. I suck.
