This one is hot off the Pitchfork feed…
It seems that Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney have found time, between solo albums, BlakRoc and other random projects, to record a new Black Keys album.
To see the light of day in Mid-May, it’s going to be put out by Nonesuch… in the U.S. at least and will be called Brothers. It was produced by the duo themselves, plus one track, ‘Tighten Up’ was produced with help from Danger Mouse.
There are plans for a Summer tour, but nothing confirmed other than performances as Bonnaroo and Central Park Summerstage in the U.S.
