Stevie Nicks officiates wedding of Deer Tick frontman John McCauley and Vanessa Carlton
Deer Tick frontman John McCauley married fellow musician Vanessa Carlton on Friday (27 December) with none other than Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks invited to officiate their union.
McCauley and Carlton had previously duetted on “In Our Time” earlier this year, tying the knot at a private ceremony.
“We met through Patrick Hallahan, from My Morning Jacket,” McCauley says of his newly-wedded wife. ”He introduced us after I went on Vanessa’s Twitter and said, “Hey, VC let’s get a beer.” I had just figured out how to use Twitter so I was really proud of myself.”
