Projekta announce Remix Exchange Programme, in association with The Line Of Best Fit and The Great Escape
Projekta have announced the second instalment of their Remix Exchange Programme, this time in association with The Great Escape and, yours truly, The Line Of Best Fit.
This time round, the likes of Best Fit Recordings‘ own I Ching and UK producer Enjoyed will exchange remixes with Iceland’s Retro Stefson and Zebra and Snake from Finland.
All the bands will play at the forthcoming Great Escape fest (10-12 May) and in the run-up, I Ching will take on a Zebra and Snake track, and vice versa, while Enjoyed is set to swap ideas with Retro Stefson.
The venture was set up as a way of creating cross-border artistic connections between the UK and artists in the Nordic regions.
In the first edition of the project, Brainlove Records‘ Mat Riviere and Napoleon IIIrd hooked up with Estonian newcomers Candy Empire ahead of the Tallinn music week. You can hear the remixes of the pilot edition by heading here.
The resulting remix EP for this project will be free to download, with each track premiered right here on Best Fit, starting from 7 May.
