Paul McCartney pays tribute to Prince by going crazy during Minnesota show

Paul McCartney has paid tribute to Prince with "Let's Go Crazy" at a show in The Purple One's hometown.

During McCartney's three-hour performance in Minneapolis last night (4 May), he paid tribute by jamming out a section of Prince's "Let's Go Crazy", twisting it into a shuffly '60s surf-pop ditty.

Speaking at the concert, the former Beatle mentioned he'd watched Prince perform multiple times, even as recently as New Year's Eve. “Prince, Minneapolis. It goes together,” he told the crows, before dedicating his performance to the iconic funk musician.

McCartney's Minneapolis date was the first of two shows in the city as part of his One On One world toru.
