New Lana Del Rey song 'Black Beauty' leaks online
Bad news for Lana Del Rey but good news for fans of the singer, as a track off the songstress’ forthcoming album has leaked online.
The song is called ‘Black Beauty’ and is a typical of the ‘Video Games’ singer, with the track being both hauntingly gorgeous and beautifully slow.
The new songs follow Del Rey’s song for The Great Gatsby soundtrack, ‘Young & Beautiful’ and also, her duet with boyfriend Barrie-James O’Neill of Scottish rock band Kassidy on Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood’s 1967 ‘Summer Wine’.
Del Rey revealed to BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat that her forthcoming second album will be a more “spiritual”. The singer, who now lives in the UK, said the follow-up to her 2012 debut album Born To Die will be stripped down but still “cinematic and dark” and although the leaked track is apparently a demo it still gives us a glimpse of what’s to come.
