Michael Cera has released a lo-fi folk album called "True That"

Maybe he’s training to play Jeffrey Lewis in an upcoming biopic. Maybe his accountant has advised him to just make his own music instead of licensing Moldy Peaches songs for his movies. Either way, for some unknown reason, Michael Cera has released an album.
Now, it’s not the first time Cera has made a foray into the world of music. He’s had a Myspace band, played live with Islands before and even appeared on a Weezer album, but now he’s put out a record of his own called True That.
18 songs of lo-fi folk, the Bandcamp collection hasn’t yet been confirmed by Cera himself but Superbad pal Jonah Hill has tweeted about it. Take a listen below:
