Taken from his forthcoming solo album A Wasteland Companion, M. Ward has revealed the video for the beautiful, gently lilting number ‘The First Time I Ran Away.’ Directed by Joel Trussell, who previously collaborated with M. Ward on the video for ‘Chinese Translation’, the wonderfully animated footage loosely reflects the lyrical narrative of the song.
A Wasteland Companion will be released on 9 April via Bella Union.
