Liverpool Music Week announces Godspeed, Deerhunter, SOAK, Gang Of Four and more
Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Deerhunter, Gang Of Four and SOAK lead the first wave of names for this year's Liverpool Music Week.
HEALTH, Holly Herndon, Best Coast, and Josh T. Pearson have also been confirmed.
There is much, much more still to be confirmed - last year's 10th anniversary celebrations featured over 250 acts at various venues across the city.
Liverpool Music Week’s founder/director, Mike Deane, said : “Following an incredible 10th Edition of the festival last year, we are thrilled to announce our first headliner for 2015 as Godspeed You! Black Emperor - an act we have been trying to get to the festival for years and now we can finally proudly announce will play their first ever Liverpool show at this years LMW. Furnace was an exceptional space for our headline shows Mogwai, Caribou, Chrvrches and will be the perfect venue for Godspeed’s first visit to the city”
