Another addition to the long list of quality pop acts coming from Sweden’s burgeoning music scene, and from the label behind Jens Lekman, Studio, The Embassy, Kleerup and Whitest Boy Alive: Lake Heartbeat.
Their debut album, Trust In Numbers, is out on November 9th and was produced by Dan Lissvik. He’s one half of Service troop Studio and the musical muscle behind The Crêpes, Fontän and most recently Taken By Trees’ critically acclaimed East Of Eden.
Lake Heartbeat’s mission statement is as simple and clear as the ocean that appears on the album artwork: Pop perfection in its most elegant form.
